Bible Readings
For
God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who
believes in him may not die but have eternal life. John 3:16
The
angel said to her, “Don’t be afraid, Mary; God has been gracious to you. You
will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He
will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High God. Luke 1:30
She gave birth to her first son, wrapped him in strips of cloth and
laid him in a manger. Luke 2:7
Jesus answered, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your
soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and the most important
commandment. The second most important commandment is like it: ‘Love your
neighbour as you love yourself.’ ” Matthew 22:37
With a loud cry Jesus died. Mark 15:37
“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus of
Nazareth, who was crucified. He is not here - he has been raised!”
